– To my mind, the main accomplishment of scientists working in this sphere is the discovery of accessibility of phenomenal abilities to nearly everybody. Another matter is that methods of training for getting these abilities are kept secret. Nowadays everybody knows that an ordinary individual uses about ten per cents of his brain's potential at best. But people are capable of evolution and development; this is their in-born ability. Nature showers prodigious possibilities on us, but we do not know how to use them. A newly-born child is a genius. But society including parents, school and all the system of education suppresses this potential. The school dims some definite amount of knowledge into children but it does not develop their creativity and hidden possibilities. Some people possessing extrasensory abilities got this knowledge spontaneously, some inherited them, some saw the light after serious trauma and apparent death. The clairvoyant Vanga is classical example of the latter case. But I am deeply convinced that advance like this is open to everybody.
– But why the studies of phenomenal abilities are generally held in secret laboratories under the control of special services?
– First of all, this is still only experimenting. In the second place, the methods of development of super-abilities can be quite dangerous if accessed by people with dishonest thoughts. People who have abilities like these have nearly unlimited power; they can enthrall the majority. Those skills can be used as psychotronic weapon. Mafia, political offenders or even common swindlers can take advantage of this knowledge. Remember the famous case of Wolf Messing who got quite a sum of money in the State Bank by a clear sheet of paper using only the power of suggestion. This was nothing but experiment, and the money was returned, but many people made some considerable thinking about the case. Or we can take the "Invisible man cases" in the practice of the law machinery. These people possess the hypnotic ability to suggest to another person that he does not see them. They rang at the doors of flats; their owners thought this some children's hooliganism and opened their doors; "invisible men" crept inside and took valuables out. Just imagine that mass hypnosis is possible! What can this result in? Special services do this on the base of science, they are in the vanguard, and they win over the best specialists.
– Do special services include psychic skills in training of secret agents?
– Yes. All agents of the level of Rudolf Abel had phenomenal abilities to some extent. Without this they could not possibly manage difficult tasks which were given to them. Agents were first of all trained in autogenic and relaxation; without this the mentality of people performing an important duty in the enemy's rear would soon get disordered. In the second place, they mastered telepathy, hypnotic suggestion and even the basics of clairvoyance, the ability to forecast events. In times of World War II the depths of Lubyanka concealed experiments in parapsychology, and in Hitler Germany the secret organization of Ahnenerbe was engaged in the same research work.
– Are ancient practices as yoga and the like used for training the phenomenal abilities?
– Yes. We choose the most efficient points from enormous amount of knowledge and use them for base of the methods for modern people. The process of upbringing used to be longer; people could get results only after decades of deliberate solitude and meditation in deserts and mountains. But now we can synthesize all spiritual and psycho-physical practices created by mankind and achieve perfection inn less time. It is not obligatory to leave society; one can realize his potential even being surrounded by people in a city.
– Let's imagine that after all those practices will be taken off the security list and they will become, so-to-say, become the common property of the people. I am interested in the following: if anybody can master telepathy and read the most intimate thoughts of his neighbour, how people are going to co-exist?
– We have thought about this. The world will become transparent. Some experiments were held with one person reproducing some information in his thoughts and another one doing the same. And they both kept track of information of each other. This can be called telepathy though actually it is much more complicated; it is a kind of mental Internet. Of course, this process can be managed and regulated, one can block the information he does not want to make known. But if the mankind does come to this transparent world, people will have to keep their thoughts and inclinations clean, for anybody will be able to see the dishonesty. Future is after such people; they will increase in number and begin to make the basis of the population of Earth.
– I wish you were right. Well, my last question. Can paranormal phenomena be explained in terms of science?
– We cannot explain it yet. But we deal with laws of nature which work though we can not understand them. It was just the same thing with electricity 120 years ago. Experiments with electricity were shown like stage tricks. It sparkled and lamps turned on. Nobody could understand why it was this way. But in twenty or thirty years the theory of electromagnetisms was created. No one is surprised by a lamp giving light to a flat. I think it will be the same way with extrasensory stuff. One of ancient wise men said that miracles do not contradict the laws of nature, they only contradict what we think of this laws. I think that new science should rest on this idea.
